BoJack Horseman Season 5 Trailer: Depressing And Hilarious

Looks like it’ll be another great season for one of Netflix’s best.

There’s a lot to look forward to in Netflix’s line-up in shows. One of their best shows will be making a return to the screen very soon for its fifth season and it’s looking to be another great one for fans of dark comedy. The trailer for BoJack Horseman season 5 dropped a while back and let’s just say fans should be ready to laugh their a–es off at how depressing life can be.

In case some are unaware, BoJack Horseman is an animated series that follows an anthropomorphic horse along with a bunch of other talking animals and “regular” humans in Hollywood. BoJack is a washed up old actor (who hates his life) as he navigates his way around Hollywood and life in this depressingly hilarious comedy. Voiced by Will Arnett, he is accompanied by a bunch of other zany characters including Diane Nguyen (Alison Brie), Todd Chavez (Aaron Paul), Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris) and Mr. Peanutbutter (Paul F. Tompkins), the show tackles depression, trauma, addiction and self-destructive behavior better than any dumb teen drama about suicide ever could.

The new season is set to premiere on September 14, 2018 and the trailer definitely seems like depression, addiction and all that fun stuff will be highlighted yet again in hilarious fashion. This time around, it looks like things are turning around for BoJack as he’s in a new show but of course, it’s BoJack and he’s never satisfied with his life. The trailer has BoJack getting out of bed (Or into bed) as he goes “aghh” whilst placing his hand over his head. This repeats itself several times in the trailer along with Diane’s line, “You say, you wanna get better and you don’t know how” echoing over and over again throughout.

Yes, this is going to be fun and from this trailer we know that the repetitive cycle of life would be addressed. Or maybe I’m reading into it too much. Well, excitement is in the air for this one but that goes without saying…. It is Netflix’s best show (Yeah, I said it).
