Infinity War: Fan Points Out Plot Hole In Thanos’ Gauntlet Snap

It’s a comic book movie so, whatever.

Avengers: Infinity War sure did a number on fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to Thanos’ actions near the end of the film. Wielding the power to wipe half the cosmos from existence with the help of the Infinity Gauntlet, the Mad Titan’s snap definitely gave the MCU one of its darkest endings. With a number of our heroes being wiped out as well, that snap sure was a surprise. What’s not going to be a surprise is the return of some of those dusted characters in Avengers: Endgame (We all saw the Far From Home trailer) but that snap was a surprise nonetheless… despite going against some of the rules established in the film.

Reddit user u/deadmemeresurrected pointed a little plot hole surrounding Thanos’ infamous finger snap which kinda contradicted some of the words mentioned by Doctor Strange.

Dr. Strange told that Thanos can wield the power of gauntlet only if he clench his fist. Then how could a snap do the thing?

Oh Snap! (No pun intended). Well Marvel, I’m sure no one would notice so… whatever. There are some explanations to this however such as ‘It’s a f–king comic book movie, who gives a s–t?’. Some fans are probably going to try to like find something to fix this little hole since you know… fans but it probably doesn’t really matter much anyway. One could say, that by snapping…. you sorta clench your first or you sorta… almost clench it. Whatever! It’s a comic book movie, who gives a s–t?.

We’ll see Thanos back in action in Avengers: Endgame which is scheduled to be released on April 26, 2019.
