All aboard the Avengers: Endgame fan theory train! Yep, we have another fan theory that may or may not provide us an indication on what to expect in the upcoming film. Last year’s Infinity War saw many of our heroes dusted along with half the cosmos but the O.G. six members of the Avengers are still standing along with a few other characters. We have gotten a number of theories of late but it looks like this latest one seems to be pretty damn plausible.
Reddit user u/Fribbulate shares a theory pertaining to Endgame highlighting how the remaining Avengers would have to travel to Vomir to retrieve the Soul Stone. To check out the full theory, click here. To summarize, the theory suggests that Nebula will bring the Avengers to Vormir where Gamora was sacrificed by Thanos in order to attain the Soul Stone. Nebula was in the room when Gamora told Thanos about the whereabouts of the Soul Stone so she would be useful there. The scene in Infinity War where Gamora lays dead below in Vormir does show stains of other victims so we could assume that the Stone would change hands once another sacrifice is made (If there is only one Stone to begin with).
Our heroes would have to go to Vormir and dig up information, perhaps even make some inquiries with Red Skull (Gonna be a little awkward with Cap there). They would have to make a sacrifice too which would lead the Stone to disappear from Thanos’ Gauntlet which in turn would alert Thanos of a plan to f–k him up. With this, the team can communicate with Dr. Strange and find out what this cryptic dude’s plan is, thus, kicking off their adventure. The theory suggests that Bruce Banner AKA Hulk would be making the sacrifice thus yielding Professor Hulk which seems like a fine way to be introduced in Endgame.
This honestly sounds legit but I’m sure there are other things at play here. With all these theories, I sure hope fans aren’t spoiling the film for themselves cause some of this shit seems possible and one of them’s bound to hit home. Endgame is inching closer so we’ll find out soon enough.
