Watch Captain Marvel and Nick Fury Sing ‘Shallow’ From A Star Is Born

Maybe Larson should make music again.

Brie Larson may be sparking a bit of controversy among some white males but she seems to be doing just fine. With Captain Marvel on the horizon, it’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing stars Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson a lot more leading up to the film’s release. Larson plays Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel in the film and she may very well be touted as a feminist icon in the years to come (If the film pulls it off) whereas Jackson will be playing a young Nick Fury since the film is set in the 1990s.

Both performers are great on screen and we can definitely expect them to do well in Captain Marvel but it looks like their chemistry translates off-screen as well. No, that doesn’t mean they’re dating! I say this because people assumed Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were due to their performance at the Oscars — a performance which got the whole world talking. And it looks like Captain Marvel and Nick Fury wanted to perform the Oscar-winning song as well.

In a recent episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Brie Larson and Jackson exercised their vocal cords with a short rendition of ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born. It only lasted a brief moment before Larson admittedly forgot the words but it was pretty funny. Check it out below:

Brie Larson sounds pretty good which isn’t much of a surprise cause she was in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Oh, and she also released a forgettable pop-rock album back in the mid-2000s. Jackson was pretty funny there though and I hope we can hear him sing more often. Maybe we’ll hear him belting out some 90s hits in Captain Marvel when its released in like… less than a week.

Captain Marvel is scheduled to be released on March 8th, 2019
