Avengers: Endgame will see some pretty interesting interactions among our heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, we can hope so at least as not all of them are acquainted with one another. Infinity War saw quite a number of our heroes dusted at the hands of the Mad Titan Thanos including a majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Rocket Raccoon is the only one alive from the Guardians crew (Unless you count Nebula) so things are going to be a little different for him without his buds around.
For one, it looks like he’s actually going to have to socialize with the other members of the Avengers which shouldn’t be too hard since he fought alongside some of them and he kinda befriended Thor. However, he hasn’t met all of them yet and it looks like there’s a chance that he might.
Sean Gunn (Brother of James Gunn) who does the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon spoke to IGN at the Captain Marvel premiere. He didn’t reveal much cause well, Marvel has always been pretty secretive about their films (Except when it comes to Spider-Man: Far From Home) but he did reveal that Rocket is going to be doing a ton of socializing. He said:
“All I can say is that Rocket gets to meet a lot of interesting new people that he has not met before in Endgame and I think I’ll leave it at that,”
Rocket Raccoon is voiced by Bradley Cooper but Gunn performs the motion capture for the character. He also plays Kraglin in the Guardians films but it’s unsure if he’ll be making an appearance in Endgame. With Rocket as the only surviving member of the Guardians, you gotta wonder how he’ll cope with things in the film.
