No other studio can keep audiences glued to their seats when a film ends like Marvel can with their post-credit scenes. Avengers: Infinity War may be an MCU movie unlike any other, but it still comes with the traditional Marvel post-credits scene stinger. Avengers: Infinity War held its premiere screening, and it has now been confirmed how many post-credits scenes the Marvel Studios movie has. Avengers: Infinity War will have just the one post-credit scene.
Details on that sole scene are still completely unknown, but it’s a safe bet to assume that it will tease the final Avengers film which will be released next year, the title of which is being considered a spoiler by Kevin Feige.
Over the years, Marvel movies have started to include more than one stinger, one that teases an upcoming movie and another one that works more as a joke. Marvel films aren’t restricted to two post-credits scenes though, as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had five credits scenes. However, it seems like directors Anthony and Joe Russo have scaled it back for Avengers: Infinity War.
It’ll be fascinating to see what goes down in the post-credit scenes, as it offers up a glimpse of the MCU’s future. Whatever goes down, fans will have to wait until the very end of the credits to see the scene.
