Here’s What MCU Stars And Directors Think Of Avengers: Infinity War

Stars and critics are teasing an epic, devastating cinematic experience.

Last night’s world premiere was the first time Avengers: Infinity War was screened in its entirety and, based on the initial reactions from those in attendance the film is, in a word, epic. So far, it looks like the biggest comic book movie event in history is a gigantic, epic monster with an ending that might just mess you up.

Many different MCU actors and other industry players finally got to see the movie in its entirety at last night’s premiere couldn’t help but rave about it, praising the Russo brothers for bringing such an epic story to the big screen. It’s almost legend at this point the extraordinary lengths that Marvel Studios went to keep the details of Infinity War under wraps. Those lengths included not giving the cast full scripts, giving them scripts with fake scenes and, at least in the case of Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, not even telling him who he was fighting during some of the filming.

Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the movie, took to Twitter to let fans know exactly how awesome Infinity War is.

Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula, was as complimentary.

Brie Larson, who is set to join the MCU as Captain Marvel, was probably the most excited.

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson was complimentary of Josh Brolin’s performance as Thanos while offering his followers a warning to avoid spoilers.

Zoe Saldana who acts as Gamora praised the Russos and their ability to create such an amazing movie combining so many different Marvel characters.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg was present at the premiere with his wife Jennifer Grey and daughter Stella, promising that “minds will be blown.”

Ghost Rider actor Gabriel Luna rated the movie with a two thumbs up.

While it comes as no shock that the MCU actors are showering the film with praise, it’s also notably receiving mostly favorable reviews from critics now that the embargo has been lifted. It appears, at first glance anyway, that the massive risk of creating an epic movie with an all-star ensemble of major MCU players has definitely reaped its rewards.
