The Rock Congratulates Star-Lord On Kicking His Ass At The Box Office

It seems like everyone is taking notice of the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe especially their latest installment, Avengers: Infinity War which is blowing up the box-office. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently voiced out a congratulatory statement to the cast and crew of Infinity War.

Johnson’s headlining film, Rampage in which he Rock Bottom-ed three monsters (okay, that didn’t happen) was No.1 at the box office for 2 weeks in a row but that seems like it’ll come to an end thanks to the Marvel‘s latest ensemble piece.

Johnson took to Instagram thanking his fans and congratulating the Avengers, singling out Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in the MCU. He highlighted how fans were asking Johnson and Pratt to work together to which he showed the vision board in his gym with “Rock & Pratt” written on it.

Johnson is arguably the biggest movie star on the planet and Pratt is in one the biggest Hollywood franchises of all time. Putting the two together would yield a colossal result. It is highly unlikely that Johnson would be a part of the MCU due to him being expected to play Black Adam in the DC Extended Universe nor will Chris Pratt jump ship to the DCEU anytime soon.

Chances mostly eschew towards them working on an entirely new project together, perhaps in Johnson’s new production company Seven Bucks Production. It’s obvious that Pratt can headline a film due to his success in The Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World and the Rock is well… The Rock, so it would be interesting to see what they can do together.

It does look like Johnson would be headlining the film because he’s well… The Rock but if they do something along the lines of a buddy cop film, they would be able to share the limelight.
