The Teen Titans are trying to be taken seriously as heroes in the new film, but they won’t be alone, as heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are all making appearances. As for who is playing the role of the Dark Knight, that would be none other than Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel announced the role while taking a shot at LEGO Batman’s Will Arnett.

Kimmel confirmed this on his Twitter account, whilst throwing some shade at Will Arnett. Arnette portrayed Batman in The LEGO Batman Movie. Arnette is actually in this movie, playing Deathstroke.
Kimmel joins a host of celebrities to the growing list of individuals who have portrayed The Dark Knight. The 50-year-old talk show host is set to take on this role in the upcoming animated movie surrounding the group of DC Comics characters that originated in the ‘New Teen Titans’ comic book series, and were adapted for television for the Cartoon Network shows ‘Teen Titans’, and ‘Teen Titans Go!’. He will be joining Nicolas Cage, who will be voicing Superman.
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies follows the Titans – led by Batman’s sidekick Robin, alongside Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg – as they embark on a quest to be given their own superhero movie, after learning that the likes of Superman, Batman, and Aquaman have all made it onto the big screen.
The cast is not short on star power, as, Kristen Bell, rapper Lil Yachty and singer Halsey also have roles in this movie. Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail assume director duties for this film.
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies will hit the theatres on July 26.
