Captain Marvel Set Video Reveals A Downed Aircraft

New video footage emerges online.

The latest in a string of set videos for the Brie Larson-led Captain Marvel movie has found its way online, and this time it reveals that the Marvel production is hard at work constructing a new set. Newly surfaced footage reveals a filming location for Captain Marvel, serving as some kind of aircraft crash site. One curious Facebook user captured a video of what appears to be a downed aircraft that’s washed ashore.

First spotted by CBM, each snippet is totally free of spoilers. As the video shows, a crash site is being constructed for the film at Shaver Lake, California. It’s hard to make out what kind of aircraft we are seeing. It’s difficult to tell exactly what we’re seeing, but given what we know of Captain Marvel, there are a few potential theories. It’s certainly possible this is where Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers crashes a U.S. Air Force jet.

The construction in the videos also indicates more photos and videos should be arriving soon involving actual filming. There’s a good chance we’ll see some new set videos from Shaver Lake when they begin shooting at the site next week, which may provide some more clues on the nature of the aircraft and its role in the film.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Clark Gregg and Lee Pace amongst others.

The film arrives March 8, 2019.
