Deadpool 2 Has A Post Credits Scene And Apparently It’s The Best

Another classic 80s film homage would suffice but sure…

Post-credits scene are aplenty these days as theater-goers can be seen lingering around when the credits are rolling. This is largely due to the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s practice of including teases for upcoming films after the credits roll. Other films have been adopting this including 20th Century Fox’s X-Men universe and even Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained albeit to a more comedic effect if anything else. With the plethora of post-credits scenes, it seems that Deadpool 2 may have the best according to some people from an early screening for the upcoming film.

Early press screenings for Deadpool 2 not only indicate a positive response from audiences but some have even praised the post-credits scene. One person even considered it to be his favorite so far amidst the many we’ve seen in modern comic book films.

Not much has been said beyond that in regards to the contents of the post-credits scene but this will no doubt raise some speculation. Perhaps something related to an X-Force film or maybe just a little comedic snippet but the latter does not seem likely unless it is one hell of a comedic snippet. The MCU tends to go one way or the other in either the mid-credits or post. Films like Iron-Man way back in 2008, teased the Avengers eventually planting the seed to the mega-franchise. Spider-Man Homecoming, however, featured a more comedic take, poking a little fun at audiences who stay back after the credits roll.

The post-credits scene in the original Deadpool blended both aspects well with a nod to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off that also teased the introduction of Cable for the sequel. If Deadpool 2 does something similar to its predecessor, it would definitely stand out. One thing is for sure, Deadpool 2 will likely be a hit and audiences are going to have to hold their bladders and stick around for the full experience.
