Zack Snyder Reveals Mother Box Origins In Deleted Storyboard

Holy Mother of Box!

Zack Snyder releases storyboards of deleted scenes from Justice League that hints at Cyborg’s possible origin story. We all know that the half man, machine hybrid was created when his father Silas Stone used the power of the Mother Box to heal his son. But did you know that this technology could have dated all the way back to World War 2? The storyboard details of how the Mother Box was found by Nazis as the war ended. It was then captured by the Allies and brought back for research until it finally landed into the hands of Silas Stone and eventually into Cyborg.

Because it’s a deleted scene, this plot thread is most likely left out of the anon and for very a good reason as well. Nazis finding a cube that holds advanced alien technology that allows for inter-dimensional travel? Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Some of the elements of Mother Box story did make it to the DCEU canon however with a short vignette in the home release of Wonder Woman showing Steve Trevor’s assistant Etta Candy discussing how found an old artefact was found after the bombing of Liege. That artefact being the Mother Box.

While it isn’t exactly clear how the DCEU plans to go forward with its Cyborg film based on the information found, it does give us an interesting insight into what could have been and what could be.
