Marvel Boss Might Bring Back SPOILER Character From Ant-Man 2

He’s open to the idea at least.

Spoilers ahead for Ant-Man & The Wasp

Ant-Man & The Wasp was just the palate cleanser we need following the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers: Infinity War. Granted it did have some problems but the performances, characters and charm offered plenty for fans to enjoy. Ghost was a particular interesting addition to the MCU, serving as a villain that is pretty different from the rest and it looks like there’s a chance we could see the character back.

Played by Hannah John-Kamen, Ava AKA Ghost seems like she might have a chance to be featured in future installments in the MCU according to Marvel president Kevin Feige. Although not revealing much as usual, Feige was asked by Birth.Movies.Death on the mid-credits scene of the film after Ant-Man referred to her as “our new Ghost friend” after the film ended with the heroes and Ava essentially coming to an agreement. Feige spoke on that, saying:

This was not the story of defeating a villain and everybody cheering. This is a different kind of villain story. When and where – in the tag, he mentions “his new Ghost friend” – is something we’ll see. But there’s nothing better than struggling over the decision about what characters to bring into a movie, casting those characters, writing and putting them together in a way that works in the movie, and then have audiences go “we love them, when are we going to see them again?” Shuri for sure is a great example of that. So with Ghost it is, step one: complete. As for step two, we’ll see where we go with that.”

It’ll definitely be interesting to see where they take Ghost. This doesn’t confirm anything but Feige definitely seems to be open to the idea and chances are, he’ll bring her back. It looks like there’s a lot more to explore with her character and a lot of potential ideas to tackle (perhaps a Thunderbolts film). Maybe Marvel’s Phase 4 would do something with her.
