Hantu Kak Limah Breaks Box Office Records

The movie raked in RM20.5 million in just 11 days.

Hantu Kak Limah, produced by Astro Shaw and Infinitus Gold, continues to make history, breaking its 4th record, by collecting RM20.5 million within just 11 days of opening. The previous record was held by the film Abang Long Fadil 2, produced by Astro Shaw & Scope Productions, which received RM19.04 million in its first 28 days of opening in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. 

Executive Producer Datuk Khairul Anwar Salleh, Gayatri Su-lin and TP Lim, the director Mamat Khalid, the cast and film workers are grateful and thankful to Malaysians, Bruneians, Singaporeans as well as media partners with supporters who always supported the film.

Hantu Kak Limah is a story about Kak Limah, who is discovered dead by a villager. Since then, her ghost has been spotted around Kampung Pisang, making the villagers uneasy. Enter Encik Solihin, who tries to help by shooing her ghost away from the village. Husin, Encik Solihin and other villagers trying to overcome this problem. However, the tragedy behind Kak Limah’s death has yet to be unveiled.

Hantu Kak Limah is still showing in 146 cinemas. The film features great actors such as Datuk Awie, Delimawati, Zul Ariffin, Uqasha Senrose, Ropie, Rabbi Khalid, Mus May, Sharwani, TJ Isa, Jue Aziz and special appearances by Erra Fazira and Datuk Seri Vida.
