Lena Dunham And Austin Butler Joins Cast Of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Ensemble is an understatement.

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is looking to really serve up one hell of a treat. If being a Tarantino flick isn’t enough, the film boasts an awesome cast featuring the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt (that should be enough to get audiences on board), Margot Robbie, Al Pacino and many more. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood centers itself around the Manson murders in the late 60s and will feature some Hollywood characters at the time including Sharon Tate (Robbie) and Bruce Lee who we recently found out will be played by Mike Moh. It seems like there’s more to the cast however with more great names added to the roster.

Deadline reports that the flick has added Lena Dunham, Austin Butler, Maya Hawke and Lorenzo Izzo to the ensemble cast of Once Upon a Time. At least one of those names should sound familiar to you and the rest, you’ve probably seen them especially Butler who might be familiar to those who’ve seen a ton of Nickelodeon and Disney channel back in the mid to late 2000s.

Dunham, is known as the creator and star of HBO’s acclaimed comedy series Girls which has garnered plenty of accolades during its run. Butler has been in some Nickelodeon series such as Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide and Zoey 101 along with ABC’s Switched at Birth. Maya Hawke is the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman so that helped her get the role…. Okay, she’s pretty new to the scene having been in a BBC adaptation of Little Women and is set to be in Stranger Things season 3 so it’s clear she’s going to be a big name. As for Izzo, she’s been in several horror flicks in the past including Eli Roth’s Green Inferno and Knock, Knock.

We can definitely expect great things from this lot and it looks like it’ll be great. We know that Dunham and Butler will be playing central members of the Manson family so that’ll be awesome to see on screen. Fingers crossed, this going to be one of the best films of 2019.
