Halloween 2018 Clip Sees Michael Myers And Laurie Strode In Action

Looks promising.

The upcoming Halloween 2018 film will see the iconic Jamie Lee Curtis back as Laurie Strode and of course Michael Myers himself in what is considered a direct sequel to the original Halloween way back in 1978. We’ve seen way to many Halloween films throughout the years but none can match the original John Carpenter masterpiece. However, this latest take on Michael Myers looks like it may bring some life back into this long running franchise.

Set forty years after the original film, the film retcons the other sequels, only acknowledging the original. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but based off a new clip released for the film, it looks like we may have another satisfying horror film this year. Check out the clip below:

Here, we see Laurie as a straight up badass. Can’t help get some Sarah Connor or Ellen Ripley vibes with her portrayal here. It looks like we’re going to see a real showdown here between Laurie and Myers with plenty of intensity, suspense and hopefully not too much, jump-scares

The film is already earning positive reactions from critics who are considering it to be a return to form for the series and Curtis apparently still has plenty left in her to deliver. Some may have some reservations about this film but it’s looking to be another good horror flick this year and this new clip for the film is definitely reassuring us. The Nun may have s–t the bed with its franchise but hopefully Halloween can brings theirs back.

Halloween is scheduled to be released on October 19, 2018
