Monster Hunter Movie: Milla Jovovich Shares An On-Set Image

Not sure how to feel about another video game adaptation.

As we all know, video game films have never been something that people would generally consider ‘good’ but that’s not going to stop Hollywood from churning them out. Many of them have been pretty successful but video game adaptations have never been able to properly satisfy but it looks like it won’t stop anytime soon as there’s a Monster Hunter film on the way.

Capcom’s widely successful Monster Hunter series will be seeing a film adaptation with Milla Jovovich as the lead with husband Paul W.S. Anderson directing. The two have worked together in the Resident Evil film series which as we all know, weren’t very good but yeah, they made money. The cast will also include Tony Jaa, T.I., Ron Perlman and Diego Boneta. Production for the film is underway and the film looks like it’s definitely moving forward pretty nicely as Jovovich shares her excitement on the film.

Jovovich posted an image on Instagram of herself in the makeup trailer on set looking all battered up, probably after facing some monsters. Check it out below:

We’re obviously not gonna get a look at the monsters just yet cause production has just started unless you wanna see green screen but Jovovich looks ready to take this film on. In terms of Anderson filmmakers, Paul W.S. has never been the one to deliver the best flicks but maybe things would turn around with this one. It’s hard to really be excited for video game adaptations but some fans may be hoping for something great.
