Crimes of Grindelwald Rotten Tomatoes Score Is The Worst In The Series

It looks like the Wizarding World has lost its magic.

There’s a ton of anticipation for Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald which is really looking like it would be a proper prequel to the Harry Potter series. It’s predecessor, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was just alright and didn’t manage to capture of the HP series but from what we saw in the trailer, this looks like it very well might.

With a third Fantastic Beasts film already planned, we can really expect something great to be delivered in Crimes of Grindelwald. So far, every Harry Potter film including the first Fantastic Beasts have delivered something worthwhile in the cinemas and have never really s–t the bed. We should expect this latest outing to do the same right? RIGHT?? Well, it looks like this one actually s–t the bed according to some critics.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, Crimes of Grindelwald now has a score of 55% of Rotten Tomatoes, the lowest in the Wizarding World franchise and the first certified “rotten” for the series. Although the visuals and performances were praised, the film seems to have too much in it especially in regards to the muddied narrative.

Things are getting worse it seems as Where to Find Them is considered the second lowest in the series with a 74 percent rating. The lowest in the Harry Potter series would be Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with a 77 percent and even that one was pretty good. The highest in the HP series would be Deathly Hallows Part 2 with a 96 percent which we can all agree was spectacular.

Maybe the Wizarding World has lost its magic or maybe it’s just these critics since it’s still pretty early on. They can still probably make the 60s mark but even so, it would still be considered the worst. Maybe fans would think differently but I guess we’ll find out soon.

Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2018
