Birds Of Prey Reportedly Adds John Wick Stunt And Fight Coordinators

We can expect the action to be awesome.

Dc’s upcoming Birds of Prey looks to be very promising from the information being gathered of late. Directed by Cathy Yan, the film will apparently be Rated-R featuring a cast of talented individuals that would no doubt deliver something special for fans and audiences alike. Featuring the likes of Margot Robbie returning as Harley Quinn, the film also has Mary Elizabeth Winstead set to play Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain.

That’s just the ladies, as for the villain, we have Ewan McGregor taking on the role of Roman Sionis aka Black Mask. The film definitely looks like it’s going to be something great and with the Rated-R stamp, we can expect some awesome, unfiltered action. It does sounds presumptuous to say that the action would automatically be great with the Rated-R stamp but from this new report, we can be optimistic.

HN Entertainment reports that Birds of Prey has added stunt coordinator Jonathan Eusebio and fight coordinator Jon Valera from 87Eleven Action Design on board the project. The company, formed by directors Chad Stahleski and David Leitch has plenty of cool action credits under their name. Eusebio has films like Black Panther, John Wick 3, Deadpool 2, The Fate of The Furious, John Wick: Chapter 2, John Wick, The Avengers, and The Wolverine uder his bet. Valera on other other hand has Aquaman, Atomic Blonde, John Wick 3, Creed II, Thor: Ragnarok, and John Wick as credits.

Those films are solid in regards to fights and action sequences so we can expect something amazing from this department. Even if some of those films aren’t amazing overall, the action has proven to be entertaining to balls out awesome so the action for Birds of Prey is in the right hands if this report is true. Some of those films aren’t released yet but we’ll know later on but as for the ones we already saw, they have delivered.
