Karen Gillan Excited To Go Forward With Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

It would be different without Gunn but oh well.

Despite the whole James Gunn debacle in regards to Disney firing him from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after a bunch of old offensive tweets of his surfaced, the MCU flick is still moving forward. Gunn getting fired caused one hell of a stir in the industry with plenty of celebrities and fans defending Gunn. Whatever side you take on that matter, we at least have the next Guardians film moving forward despite it possibly taking longer than expected.

With the cast of the Guardians offering plenty of support especially Dave Bautista, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would still likely feature most of the people we’ve come to know and love from the previous installments. Although it may not be the same without Gunn at the helm despite his script being used, we can still be excited for the upcoming flick and it looks like one member of the Guardians feels the same way.

Speaking with People, Karen Gillan who plays Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel along with Avengers: Infinity War expressed her excitement for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. She said:

“Our director won’t be with us any longer but we are excited to continue the Guardians of the Galaxy story and keep delivering to the fans, that’s the most important thing. I don’t have any details as to when [the next Guardians film will come out] but there’s a script in existence.”

It would no doubt be different without Gunn as the director but he’s going to be doing just fine having been attached to write Suicide Squad 2. The man’s moving on and whoever takes the reigns for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would probably be a worthy addition to the team… I hope.
