Weird Rick And Morty Clip Possibly Teases Season 4

Still waiting for a premiere date announcement.

Rick and Morty is a damn good show and not just as an animated series providing us with plenty of nihilistic humor and cool animation throughout its run. Following the exploits of Rick, a genius cynical scientist and his grandson Morty, a not-so-genius teenager as they explore galaxies, alternate dimensions and plenty of other stuff that would probably leave you laughing you a– off.

All three seasons were great but unlike most shows, each season was released pretty far apart and we expected season 4 to do the same following season 3’s conclusion in 2017. It really is uncertain when we will see season 4 but this new clip from the series official Twitter page may indicate a season 4 release pretty soon… hopefully or at least a premiere date announcement. Check out the clip below:

This weird ass clip is awesome but it doesn’t really offer up a lot of information in regards to its future… or does it? We see Rick-esque figure devouring which is sort of indicative of Rick and Morty’s toxic relationship with one another while a voice chants “Rick, Morty”. We see Rick taking on various froms and creatures as he eats Morty’s more meek forms and creatures before we see a fist emerge from nowhere grabbing Rick as he embodies a black hole sucking up a planet Morty,. This fist is not just some random fist as it is the fist of none other than, Evil Morty.

Back in season 3, we saw Evil Morty taking over the the Citadel of Ricks in an alternate reality where everyone is either a cocky Rick or a subservient Morty. Evil Morty has the potential to take the series to new heights and we can probably expect him to be the primary antagonist in season 4. This clip could just be some random weirdness from the creators but it could very well be more. Series creator Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon could just be telling us that they’re working on something which in itself is kinda assuring.
