Trailer For 22 July From Captain Philips Director Chronicles 2011 Norway Attacks

Something to definitely check out.

The new trailer for 22 July by Paul Greengrass just dropped and it looks like it’ll serve another dramatic thriller from the Oscar nominated director. The film is based off the 2011 Norway attacks which refers to two sequential lone wolf terrorist attacks by far-right terrorist Anders Behring Breivik against the government, the civilian population and a Worker’s Youth League summer camp which saw a total of 77 deaths.

The film features a Norwegian cast and crew and it is looking to serve a gripping, real and most of all haunting look surrounding the terrifying event. Based off the trailer, the film looks like it will tackle the events leading up to the attacks, the attacks itself along with the aftermath. It does seem like the aftermath will be given a lot of light as the trailer really emphasizes much of the trauma surrounding the survivors of the attack.

It’s safe to say that this is something to look forward to when it is released on Netflix next month. Paul Greengrass is a master at providing captivating dramatic thrillers that’s not only entertaining but emotionally moving. This will not be “entertaining” of course since it’s about a f–king terrorist attack but it’s pretty certain that you’d want to check this out as it’ll looking to be something of vital importance not just as a film but as a tragic moment in history (but that goes without saying…).

The names may not be big but Paul Greengrass undoubtedly is. He has directed action films like The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum along with dramatic real life accounts like United 93 and Captain Philips. This is something to look out for.

22 July is set to be released on Netflix on October 19, 2018
