Henry Cavill Praises Aquaman In Funny Social Media Post

Still unsure if we’ll see Cavill back but at least we have Aquaman.

Aquaman has been getting some much needed glory for the DCEU providing a solid standalone flick that would undoubtedly serve as a turn point for the series. Although the film isn’t really seeing the acclaim the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been getting, the comic book world has expressed plenty of love for the Jason Momoa led film. With Marvel comics editor-in-chief praising the film, we see that their rivals are on board the Aqua-train themselves and it looks like a fellow DCEU boy may be feeling the same way too.

Henry Cavill who has played Superman in DCEU films Man of Steel, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League has expressed some love for Aquaman in an Instagram post. While doing so, we see Cavill channeling Arthur Curry in a pretty funny way. Check out the post below:

This is actually pretty funny to be honest. Cavill’s future in the DCEU has been shrouded in mystery especially after he was reportedly out as the Man of Steel. However, that report was debunked by his manager not long after but Warner Bros. themselves didn’t really provide much clarification on that matter in their official statement. Momoa himself has said that Cavill is not gonna be leaving the role anytime soon but with little information on the matter from Warner Bros., it’s hard to really say. Cavill himself is probably busy with Netflix’s The Witcher series so he still has a job taking on the iconic Geralt of Rivia.

Whether or not we see Cavill return as the Man of Steel, we can at least appreciate Aquaman for providing a fun ride and possibly opening the doors to more opportunities for the DCEU.
